John Juzek Violin.      Offered at $450.00          SOLD

This is a violin of German origin labelled "John Juzek Violinmaker in Prague".

I would estimate that this violin was made between 1920 and 1940 as the label states "Made in Germany". After World War II, imported violins from Germany were typically labelled "Made in Western Germany". This is a solid vintage trade violin. It has no cracks or other damage, however it does appear that to top has been removed and replaced at one time.

The violin has a professional setup, carbon fiber tailpiece with integral fine tuners, and ebony fittings. The tuning pegs are well fit. New Helicore strings are installed. A medium quality shaped case is provided along with a Glasser fiberglass bow.
